Kochi (formerly known as Cochin) is situated on the banks of Arabian Sea and is also known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. This is the gateway to Kerala, now popularly known amongst the visitors as 'God's Own Country'. Due to its easy access through the Kochi Port, various Western and Asian Traders came and settled here such as the Portuguese, Chinese, Jews and the Arabs.

Sightseeing tour of Kochi (Cochin) are the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch Palace, the Chinese Fishing Nets, the Church of St Francis and the Tomb of Vasco da Gama. Also take stroll through the Fort Kochi Market and sea the fishing activities of the local fisherman.

How To Reach Kochi :

By Air : Cochin Airport, situated about 25 km north of Kochi city at Nedumbassery, handles both domestic and international flights. One can fly to Singapore, Middle East and Malaysia and to most major Indian cities

By Train : Kochi has two major railway stations – Ernakulam Town and Ernakulam Junction (locally known as the North and South railway stations respectively). Trains from all major cities of India gets connected to Ernakulam.

By Road : Kochi is well connected by road to neighboring cities and states such as Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
